Till now, HUST Law School has produced more than 3,000 undergraduates and 2,000 graduate students. Apart from students who have pursued further studies in law schools of prominent universities at home and abroad, most of them have been employed by legislative, trial, procuratorial, and administrative law enforcement organs, or lawyer, notary, arbitrary, finance, judicial appraisal, securities, and corporate law organizations, or institutions of higher education, scientific research centers and so on, The Law School is famous for its excellent graduates who have already taken valuable posts such as presidents of people's courts, procurator-general of procuratorates and directors of public security bureaus at various levels, and professors of well-known universities and colleges who have taken part in critical academic research projects. In 2018, 53% of undergraduates had been enrolled into prestigious universities at home and abroad for further education, and 30% of them have been accepted by Party and government organs as well as large enterprises and businesses, such as Huawei and Bank of China and others have taken the offers from Party and government organs, public institutions, and large law firms.

Another student, Liu Chao of Law School, led the team to have won the golden prize and Best Commercial Value award in the Second Session of 'Internet+‘ Mass Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
