To meet the special requirements of the manufacturing techniques of pulsed magnets, a very special winding machine has been designed and developed as shown below. The maximum size of coils that can be manufactured is of 1000 mm axial length and of 800 mm outer diameter. More than 50 pulsed magnets have been manufactured so far.
