The thermal science and engineering laboratory based on the research team of Professor Wei Liu, currently has 2 professors (doctoral supervisor), 1 senior engineer, 3 associate professors, 13 PhD students and 33 master students name. Research directions mainly include heat transfer enhancement theory and technology, industrial waste heat recovery and energy saving technology, electronic device cooling and spacecraft thermal control, micro-nano scale heat transfer and flow, porous media heat and mass transfer theory and application, fuel cell thermal management, building energy saving and solar thermal utilization, etc. The research team has undertaken more than 50 national, provincial and ministerial projects such as the National 973 Program, 863 Program, Key Projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, and enterprise commissioned projects; published more than 400 papers in important domestic and international journals, of which more than 310 were included in SCI Articles, 22 authorized invention patents, 5 textbooks and monographs. In the field of power engineering and engineering thermophysics, we have good cooperation with many universities and research institutions at home and abroad and many domestic enterprises.
