Xiaobing Luo
|
Xiaobing Luo is a professor, doctoral supervisor, recipient of the National Outstanding Youth Fund, IEEE Fellow, ASME Fellow, and a leading talent in scientific and technological innovation under the National Ten Thousand Talents Plan. He enjoys special allowances from the State Council and is the Dean of the School of Energy and Power Engineering and the Chinese Dean of the China Europe Energy Institute. Research direction: Extreme thermal management design and devices; Packaging of optoelectronic devices (LED and quantum dots); Micro pump. I have been nominated for the 2020 Baosteel Excellent Teacher Special Award, the second prize of the 2018 National Teaching Achievement Award (ranked second), the 2016 IEEE CPMT Outstanding Technical Achievement Award (IEEE Packaging Association Outstanding Technical Achievement Award), the second prize of the 2016 National Technology Invention Award (ranked second), and the first prize of the 2015 Hubei Provincial Natural Science Award. The first author or corresponding author has published 176 SCI indexed papers, and the first inventor has authorized 56 Chinese invention patents and 5 US patents, of which 20 have been transferred in cash. Publish one monograph in both Chinese and English. 34 special invited presentations at domestic and international conferences. I have served as the Associate Editor for IEEE Packaging and ASME Electronic Packaging, respectively. In 2019 and 2018, I served as the Vice General Chair for the ASME InterPACK Conference in Silicon Valley, USA, where I successfully developed the first micro hydraulic suspension pump and ultra-thin micro pump, as well as the framework for high-temperature logging tools, and implemented conversion and sales. Run Hu
|
Run Hu received Bachelor degree and Ph.D. degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in 2010 and 2015, respectively. From Nov. 2014 to Apr. 2015, he visited Purdue University as a Visiting Scholar. From Nov. 2016 to Nov. 2017, he was a JSPS postdoctoral researcher at the University of Tokyo. In 2023, he became a professor in HUST. He has published 90 SCI journal papers including Nature Communications、Science Advances、Advanced Materials、Advanced Energy Materials、Physical Reivew X、Nano Energy、ACS Nano, and co-authored 2 book chapters and 10 granted Chinese patents. He acts as the reviewer for Scientific Reports, International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, Optics Express, IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology, IEEE Photonics Technology Letters, Applied Optics, etc. His interests include thermal metamaterials and devices, high-power LED packaging, thermal management for electronics, etc. Email: hurun@hust.edu.cn. |

Dongwei Xu
|
Dongwei Xu is an associate professor in school of Energy and Power Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. In 2003, she was awarded as‘Chun-Tsung scholar’that is funded by Tsung-Dao Lee, the Nobel prize winners in physics. In 2007, Dr. Xu got the Master degree in advance with excellent performance in research. In the same year, she began to study for her doctor degree at Oklahoma State University in United State. At the end of 2017, after two-and-half year research at Argonne National Laboratory as a postdoc, she began to work at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Her research interest is very broad, from the electronic properties and thermal transport of low dimensional material to the thermoelectric materials, LED related materials and energy storage materials. She would like to solve the important problems in the application from fundamental theory. In the recently years, she has done some research on the LED related material and Energy storage battery material. She has published several SCI journal papers and co-authored one invited book chapter. Jinlong Ma
|
Jinlong Ma is a lecturer in Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). He obtained a bachelor degree and doctor degree from HUST in 2011 and 2016, respectively, and studied in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) as visiting internship student from February to August 2013. He has published 8 SCI papers by the first author and served as a reviewer for Phys. Rev. Lett., Phys. Rev. B, Appl. Phys. Bin Xie
|
Bin Xie is a lecturer in Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). He received bachelor degree and Ph.D. degree from HUST in 2014 and 2019, respectively. From July 2019, he worked in Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. as a senior engineer. In May 2020, he became a postdoctor in HUST. In June 2022, he joined the school of Mechanical Science and Engineering, HUST. He has published 13 SCI journal papers such as Advanced Functional Materials, Chemical Engineering Journal, Optics Express, Journal of Electronic Packaging as the first author or corresponding author, and co-authored 1 book and granted 4 Chinese patents. He obtained the 2017 International Conference on Electronic Packaging Technology Outstanding Paper Award, the 2013 undergraduate National Scholarship, the 2015 Master National Scholarship, and the 2018 Ph.D. National Scholarship.
