Brief Bio

Hua Wang was born in Feb 1975, she received her bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and doctor’s degree in School of Computer Science and Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology on 1996, 2000 and 2009 respectively. She is a teacher of Huazhong University of Science and Technology from 1996 till now, whose research area is cloud storage system and service. During this period, as a main team member, she participated in multiple national projects including 863 project, 973 project, science and technology support program, and etc. She also published multiple papers in international conferences and applied several patents. In the respect of teaching, she teaches two specialized courses for undergraduates, one for foreign postgraduates, and won some teaching awards.

Awards and Honors

1. She won the first prize of scientific and technological progress in Hubei province on 2001 with certificate number 2001J-193-1-013-007-R14, in which project name is “Management Information system for hydroelectricity development along Qingjiang valley”.

2. She won the third prize of scientific and technological progress in Hubei province on 2000 with certificate number 2000J-197-3-127-049-R05, in which project name is “large scale integrated planning and operation system”.

3. She was awarded the honor of “Second prize of teaching quality of HUST from 2006 to 2007”.

4. She won the first prize of teaching achievement of HUST in 2008, rank 4, in which teaching project name is “computer interface technology course practice and innovation”.
