Our research focuses on two-dimensional nanomaterials and quantum materials such as graphene, topological insulator and iron-based superconductor, and new energy nanomaterials. We investigate the novel synthesis method, low-dimensional physics and related nanodevices. Our interest includes, but is not limited to, the electronic and spin transport, optical and optoelectronic properties, nanodevice and energy applications, and the first-principles calculations of electronic structures and physical properties. The Principle Investigator of the group is Prof. Haixin Chang supported by National Thousand Talents Program from Chinese government. He got Ph.D. from Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences at 2007. Then he worked in Tsinghua University and Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He was an Assistant Professor at Tohoku University before join the faculty of Huazhong University of Science and Technology as a full Professor. 我们长期从事二维纳米材料(石墨烯等)、量子材料(拓扑绝缘体/铁基超导等)、新能源材料等相关材料合成、低维物理与纳米器件方面的研究工作,发展二维纳米材料、量子材料的新型制备方法,研究二维/量子材料的电子与自旋输运性质、光学与光电子性能以及相关纳米与能源器件、电子结构与物性的第一原理计算等。包含下面几个方向: 1. 二维纳米材料(石墨烯、类石墨烯二维层状材料)的可控制备、纳米器件和物性测量。 2. 量子材料(拓扑绝缘体、新型铁基超导材料等)的可控制备、纳米器件与物性测量。 3. 光电、光电化学、电化学纳米与能源器件。 4. 二维材料与量子材料电子结构与物理性质的第一原理计算。 5. 半导体器件与电子封装
