　　The new Chinese-German Institute for Intellectual Property was established on January 25, 2005.

　　It offers a variety of programs, including a Master’s program, a doctoral program and a post-doctoral research center. The full time resident students are over 18 of whom over 8 are PhD Candidates and all of them are postgraduates.

　　Chinese-German Institute for Intellectual Property keeps to the principle that “Cultivating students is the fundamental”. It has a very fine academic ambience. The Institute emphasizes fostering students’ pioneering spirit and practical ability and producing tip-top talents as well. The Institute strengthens establishment of innovation system and improvement of innovation ability, particularly stresses innovation of sources in scientific research to advance sustained, coordinated and stable development of scientific research.
