报告题目:Sturmian measure can be sublinearly approximated by periodic measures
报告摘要:To study the rate of approximating some ergodic measure by periodic measures with respect to Wasserstein distance, the notion of $\tau$-uniquely ergodic measures is introduced, where $\tau \ge 0$. It is shown that a $\tau$-uniquely ergodic Borel probability measure on a subshift of finite type can be approximated by periodic measures with rate $o( \log_2^{-\tau} N )$ with respect to Wasserstein distance for $\tau \in [0,1)$. In particular, a Sturmian measure can be sublinearly approximated by periodic measures with respect to Wasserstein distance via proving that it is a $\tau$-uniquely ergodic measure for any $\tau \in [0,1)$.
报告人简介:郑立奇,2011-2015武汉大学数学与统计学院本科,2015-2020年在中科院数学与系统科学研究院博士。目前正在主持青年基金项目一项,并在Journal of Differential Equations, Journal of Dynamics and Differential Equations等杂志上发表多篇论文。
