主要学术贡献:张胜民教授在功能元素掺杂HA生物材料规模制备新技术、细胞能量生物材料、复杂组织器官支架精准3D打印和生物制造、多分子模板仿生矿化、HA类生物材料的PET成像以及系列可降解复合骨内固定器件等领域的研究和临床转化做出了开创性贡献。先后主持承担和完成了一批与先进生物材料和组织工程相关的国家和省部级以上课题,包括国家自然科学基金项目(含重点、面上)、国家自然科学基金国际合作项目(含重点、面上)、国家863高技术发展计划项目、国家重大研究计划项目、国家科技支撑计划项目、国家重点科技攻关项目、科技部政府间国际合作项目、湖北省及武汉市重大科技计划项目等;以第一发明人申请国家发明专利40余项[含美国和国际专利3项],获专利授权23项,部分发明专利获得进一步转化,有3项产品获得CFDA产品注册证,产生较大社会经济效益。在BiotechnologyAdvances, AHM, Biomaterials, JBMR-A, Biomacromolecules, ActaBiomaterialia,ChemComm, BMM, Mater SciEng C等发表学术论文100余篇,部分论文获得包括Nature Materials, ChemSoc Rev, ProgPolymSci, Accounts Chem Res等在内的正面引用和评价。

主要获奖:2015年被授予国际生物材料科学与工程界最高荣誉称号(终身荣誉)——当选为国际生物材科学与工程院Fellow;2014获中国生物材料学会“特别贡献奖”;2007年获18luck新利电竞 十佳师德先进个人荣誉称号。
主要研究方向:先进再生医学材料与器械、材料-细胞/机体相互作用、生物3D打印与微纳制造、组织器官工程、生物材料与组织工程产品技术标准与法规。

Biographical Note:
Dr. Shengmin Zhang received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Materials from Wuhan University of Technology, China. Starting in 2003 he became Professor, then the Chair Professor and Director of the Advanced Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering Center at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, China. His previous academic positions were Professor (2000-2003), Associate Professor (1996-2000) and Assistant Professor (1992-1996) in Materials Science at Wuhan University of Technology. Prof. Zhang has over 20-year experience in biomaterials and tissue engineering fields and has authored more than 100 original papers, 5 books and given about 50 keynote or invited speeches in various conferences. He is the inventor of more than 30 patents, some of which were further developed into3medical device products authorized by CFDA. Dr. Zhang very actively serves the society committees and leads numerous significant academic activities. He is Chairman of Regenerative Medical Materials Committee, Chinese Society for Biomaterials (CSBM) and CSBM Chairman of Science Popularization Committee. He has initiated and chaired several international conferences and has been one of few key leaders in promoting collaborative research between Chinese and Korean biomaterials communities. He is the Founding Chair & Chair of China-Korea Center for Biomaterials and Nano-Biotechnology (NSFC-KOSEF/NRF). He serves on the editorial boards of several well-established international journals, such as Tissue Engineering, Biomedical Materials (IOP,UK), etc.

Research Interests:New Concept Biomaterials; Advanced Materials for Regenerative Medicine;Molecular/Nano-biomaterials; 3-D Bio-printing and Biofabrication; Cell/gene-active Materials; TissueEngineering; Product and Technique Standards for Biomedical Material and Tissue Engineering Devices.
