Our new Maya intern will be working on a Hololens prototype in Maya, learning how to develop applications for Hololens. This 6-month full-time project also requires the intern to explore possibilities to integrate Hololens to Maya tool chains, and workflows. This role also includes designing, implementing and documenting a Hololens prototype which can potentially be (but not limited to) a Maya plugin.

Are you interested in Virtual Reality (VR)/Augmented Reality (AR) technology? If the answer is yes, this internship is for you! VR / AR technology starts to show their disruption to the building industry. VR/AR brings the ability to view full-sized objects in real-world context and enables true collaboration when multiple people are working on the same design. While CAD software has become a long way in improving the design process, it still has its limitations. This intern would explore the possibilities of applying VR/AR technology in BIM industry. The intern would work with users to understand current needs and build up a prototype that simulate one workflow to leverage VR/AR + Revit. By doing so, we hope to gain a deeper understanding of how VR/AR could be used in BIM industry in the future.
