“STUDY AT HUST” online learning platform was officially launched in November 2020 and has gained wide popularity from partner universities and international students around the world. Within 50 days after the platform was launched, there have been over 340 international students studying on this platform.
Dudycz Anna, a student from the Rzeszów University of Technology, Poland, was the first international student who completed the “STUDY AT HUST” English lectures. This program covers various subjects including Human Science, Education, Economics, Medicine, etc. It gives Anna an in-depth understanding of HUST’s current educational status and key disciplines, while in the meantime, it inspired Anna to study further at HUST in the near future.
Pierre Baladi, Director of International Division of Institut d'Optique Graduate School, France, is a close partner of HUST. He was greatly attracted by HUST online learning platform and he was the first staff in charge who completed all the online courses. Pierre attaches great importance to the international collaboration and exchange with HUST and introduced French students to exchange at HUST in the past years. Pierre was awarded the Certificate of Completion issued by HUST for his learning achievements on this learning platform.
Up to now, students from Udmurt State University in Russia, the Rzeszow University of Technology in Poland, the Free University of Brussels in Belgium, the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany, Friedrich-Alexander University, Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany, the University of Strasbourg in France, Gyeongsang National University in South Korea, Seoul National University of Science and Technology in South Korea and other partner universities actively participated in this online learning platform. According to the statistics, courses such as Jing-Chu Culture, Land of Heroes, Spring Festival Travel Rush in China, E-commerce in China as well as COVID-19 and China’s Responses: Action, Mobilization, and Innovation are widely welcomed by students, with total hits of over 1,300, revealing that international students are very interested in the topics about Chinese culture, medical service and current international development of HUST.
