I come from Malawi, a country located in South-Eastern part of Africa. I came to Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in September, 2016 as a PhD student in College of Public Administration (CPA). Today I am one of the proud graduates around the world for being associated with HUST, the world-class University. My three-year stay at HUST will forever be memorable. I learnt a lot from dedicated academic and non-academic HUST staff, as well as my fellow international students from around the world.

As one of public officials working in the Government of Malawi, I found the academic materials and the delivery of the materials by the esteemed Professors of CPA to be so much valuable and world class. More importantly, the program was not merely academic, but it was also practical which will make it easier for me to transfer the learning into realities once I am back in my country. As a MOFCOM sponsored student, I was funded internal trips to several provinces within China. During these trips, practical learning and appreciation of the effectiveness of Chinese Public Administration systems was significantly achieved. I have no doubt that today I am a much more competent public administration specialist than I was before, thanks to CPA in HUST, and the Chinese Government through MOFCOM.

As the saying goes: "if you are to be the best, associate with the best!!" HUST and CPA, you are the BEST!!
