报告题目:Multi-Level Monte Carlo Method for Steady Stokes-Darcy Model with Random Permeability
报告摘要:The stochastic Darcy equations are widely used to describe the flow in porous media with the random permeability. But the stochastic Darcy equations only consider the first porosity of the confined flow. So we introduce the coupled Stokes-Darcy model to improve the fidelity as it also considers the second and third porosity of the free flow. Then we prove there exists a unique weak solution of the variational form. For the numerical solution, we introduce the Monte Carlo finite element method. As the computational cost of single-level Monte Carlo method grows quite fast while the mesh size becomes smaller, we apply the multi-level Monte Carlo method to reduce the computational cost, which is efficient and valid.
报告人简介:杨志鹏,2021年北京计算科学研究中心博士,2022-2024年南方科技大学博士后,2024年起在兰州大学数学与统计学院工作,副教授。主要研究领域为不确定性量化,反问题,随机优化等,2022年获基金委博士后基金资助,以第一作者在IP、CMAME、JSC、SIIMS等杂志发表文章二十余篇。
