Chen Bin, born in 1988, from Anqing, Anhui Province, is now Associate researcher and doctoral supervisor of the School of Sociology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology of China, he is a member and secretary general of the Youth Committee of the Chinese Society of Social Security, a director and deputy secretary-general of the Charity Branch of the Chinese Society of Social Security, a vice chairman of the Academic Committee of the China Charity Federation, a member of the Expert Committee of the China Charity Federation, and a member of the Wuhan Public Welfare Philanthropy Theory and Practice Research and Advisory Expert Committee. He has presided over international cooperation projects or domestic projects such as the Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES) funded by Germany, the National Social Science Foundation Youth Project, the Huazhong University of Science and Technology Humanities and Social Sciences Independent Innovation Project, and the "Dunhe Bamboo Forest Project" Young Scholars Project Commissioned Project. He has published more than 20 academic papers in core journals in Chinese and English, such as Social Security Review and Social Policy & Administration, many of which have been reprinted in full by Xinhua Digest and NPC photocopy materials.
