Academic Degrees
Nuo Yang was born in Inner Mongolia, China in 1978. He obtained Bachelor of Science at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2000 and Master of Engineering at Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) in 2003. He obtained Ph.D. in department of physics at National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2010, supervised by Prof. Baowen Li.
Professional Experience
Then, he did postdoctoral training at NUS supervised by Prof. Baowen Li, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) supervised by Prof. Gang Chen. From Jan. 2012 to Dec. 2014, he worked at School of Physical Science and Engineering, Tongji University as a Research Professor. From Jan. 2014 to now, he worked at School of Energy and Power Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) as a Professor. His original work has an influence on the field of nano thermal science and engineering.
