郑然，博士，副教授。主要从事高性能计算及应用、分布式计算等的研究，在国内外学术刊物和国际会议上发表论文50余篇。主持、参与了包括国家自然科学基金、973计划、863计划、国家自科基金重点项目等多个国家项目。2008年获湖北省科技进步二等奖1项；2013年赴卡内基梅隆大学进行访问交流；2014年出版国家精品课程配套实验教材1本。现任湖北省计算机学会秘书长，ACM武汉分会秘书长。
