研究领域概述:
中红外电磁谱段是分子的光谱学指纹区,对应的波长为2.5-20微米。当前,国际上公认中红外光电子学是前沿学科领域和极重要的战略性新兴产业,有广泛的应用前景,包括科学研究(如极精密光谱学、分子物理、分析化学、分子生物学),医学应用(疾病诊断、无创手术),环境检测(大气污染成分检测),工业应用(食品营养成份检测、食品安全、工业过程控制),制造业应用(如聚合物材料处理),以及国防与安全应用(如危险品、爆炸物远程检测)。
目前常用的中红外光源在空间相干性、或波长调节范围、或体积上具有局限性,其性能满足不了科研与应用的需要。因此,新型中红外激光光源的开发是中红外光电子学研究的关键内容。光学与电子信息学院中红外激光研究团队将致力于研究(i)新型中红外激光频率梳光源及光谱学,(ii)新一代固体中红外激光器。中红外激光研究团队将面向科学研究,医学应用,环境检测,工业应用,制造业应用,以及国防与安全应用开发新型的中红外激光频率梳光源以及固体中红外激光器。
