Prof. Xinyun Wang was born in 1973, the vice director of State Key Laboratory of Materials Processing and Die & Mould Technology.

He was elected as the Distinguished Young Scholars by the National Science Fund of China in 2017. He is now vice director of the precision forging committee of China Society for Technology of Plasticity, and chairman of Hubei Province Society for Technology of Plasticity.

He was the Guest Editor of Int. J. Mater. Prod. Tech. He is the member of editorial board of Journal of Plasticity Engineering, Forging and Stamping Technology, Die and Mould Industry, Journal of Netshape Forming Engineering.

His research interests are metal forming technology and theory, new structure of forming equipment.

He has published more than 200 academic papers, authorized more than 20 invention patents,and established 5 Machinery industry standards.

He was awarded the second-prize of National Award of Invention in 2016, and two first-prize of Province and Ministry level Award of Science and Technology Achievements.
