Wang Zhen, Doctor of Engineering, is a lecturer of the School of Architecture and Urban Planning in Huazhong University of Science and Technology (2008), the visiting scholar at Utah State University (2013-2014), one of expert contributors for green building project of the Sourcebook of Architecture (2016), and a vice dean of the department of SAU. His research interests are Sustainable and Ecological Urban, Green Architecture and Innovated Design. Recently, Zhen’s teaching curriculums include foundation of Architecture Design, design studio for Landscape Urbanism, and Architecture Innovative Practice. Zhen has won some awards of the national and international architectural design competition as an outstanding instructor. He has published one monograph (2010) and some papers on green buildings and urban microclimate, and been in charge of several projects including one National Natural Science Foundation of China (2011).
