Professor Zifu Li’s lab is based on the National Engineering Research Center for Nanomedicine at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Our research lies at the interface of biomaterials, drug delivery, and cellular and molecular bioengineering to fundamentally understand and therapeutically target biological molecules, cancer cells, immune cells and tumor repopulating cells. We apply our research findings and the technologies developed to a range of human health applications, particularly on cancer diagnosis and treatment. Current research projects include: mechano-nanooncology; hyperbaric oxygen therapy based cancer treatment; and smart nanomedicine.
