Dr. Liu Xinwang, male, born in 1982, is a professor and doctoral supervisor from Lvliang, Shanxi. 

He received his B.E. and Ph.D. degree in Harbin Institute of Technology in 2005 and 2011 respectively, and studied at Ruhr-Universität Bochum in Germany and The University of Tennessee in the United States. 

The research intrests are the strengthening, toughening and phase transformation of new metal materials such as high entropy alloys and intermetallic compounds, 3D printing technology and intelligent green solidification processing technology. 

He is currently the deputy secretary-general of the National Society of Lost Foam and V Method Casting and Hubei Foundry Society

and Young Editorial Board of "China Foundry" and "Special Casting and Nonferrous Alloy". 

He has presided over the National Natural Science Foundation general projects, basic strengthening plan key basic research project, equipment pre-research national defense science and technology key laboratory fund and other scientific research projects. 

He published more than 50 SCI / EI papers, published one book, applied for a number of national invention patents and was invited to make conference reports or invited reports at domestic and foreign conferences many times.
