Qing Li is a professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering in Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), China. He received his PhD in Chemistry from Peking University in 2010 and then worked as a postdoctoral research associate at Los Alamos National Laboratory (2011–2013) and Brown University (2013–2015). His current research interests focus on developing advanced electrocatalysts and devices for fuel cells and water electrolysis. He has published more than 150 papers with >15000 citations, ~50 of them are in Chem. Soc. Rev., Energy Environ. Sci., Joule, Nat. Commun., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., etc. He is now serving as the editorial board member for quite a few journals, including Nano Materials Science,Chinese Chemical Letters, Chinese Journal of Catalysis, etc. Due to his outstanding research achievements, he has granted more than GBP 1,800,000 fundings from governments and industry. In parallel, he has obtained quite a few renowned awards, such as “1000 Talents Program for Young Scholars of China (2016)”, “Outstanding Youth Foundation of National Natural Science Foundation of China (2021)”, "Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (2022)".
