Li Chaoshun, male, born in November 1983, Ph.D., professor and doctoral supervisor of Huazhong University of science and technology, the winner of the national "ten thousand talents program" and the outstanding youth fund of Hubei Province. He is the executive director of the rotor dynamics special committee of China vibration engineering society, the director of Hubei hydraulic power generation engineering society, the editorial board member of SCI journal energies and EI journal vibration engineering,the young editorial board member of the newspaper. In June 2005, he graduated from thermal energy and Power Engineering (hydropower direction) of Wuhan University, and in June 2010, he graduated from school of hydropower and digital engineering of Huazhong University of science and technology, with a doctorate in hydropower engineering. He stayed in the University in July of the same year and was appointed as an associate professor in 2012 and a professor in 2016. Mainly engaged in hydropower, wind power and other clean energy optimization operation and control, intelligent maintenance of power generation equipment and artificial intelligence application research.

In recent years, he has presided over one national youth top talent project, four National Natural Science Foundation projects, one national key R & D project (sub project), one doctoral program funded by the Ministry of education, one Wuhan application foundation frontier project, and participated in a number of major projects including 973, National Science and technology support program and National Natural Science Foundation key projects. He wrote 3 monographs and published 62 SCI journal papers as a first-class or corresponding author, including 10 highly cited by ESI, 14 in the first district and 31 in the Second District of CAS. The doctoral dissertation "Research on identification and fault diagnosis of hydropower unit control system" was nominated as National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation in 2012. The achievements have won the first prize of Natural Science Award of the Ministry of education in 2017 (ranking 2), the first prize of Hydropower Science and Technology Award in 2015 (ranking 2), the second prize of science and technology progress award of Jiangxi Province in 2017 (ranking 2), the third prize of science and technology progress award of State Grid Corporation of China in 2017 (ranking 2), the first prize of the fourth China University Press Book Award (excellent academic works) in 2015 (ranking 3), and the first prize of 2016 Beijing Publishing Government Award (ranking 3), the first prize of 2009 Ministry of Education University Science and Technology Award (ranking 19).
