Dongmin Kong, Professor in finance at the School of Economics, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, serves as a doctoral supervisor and vice dean.

Main research interests: corporate finance, business behavior, and economic development.

As the chief investigator of the National Social Science Fund's major projects, he leads several projects of the National Natural Science Foundation. He also undertakes numerous joint research projects for institutions such as the Ministry of Finance, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the World Bank, the China Construction Bank, the Shanghai Stock Exchange, and the Postal Savings Bank (Hubei).

He serves as the co-editor of Economic Analysis and Policy and the associate or guest editor of journals such as the China Finance Review International, International Journal of Finance and Economics, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, and Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization.
