I am an assistant professor in School of Computer Science and Technology of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. I obtained my Ph.D (supervisor: Prof. Dr. Xiaoming Fu) in Computer Science from University of Goettingen, Germany with the highest distinction "Summa Cum Laude" in 2016. Before that, I got my M.Sc in Electronics Engineering from Tsinghua Univeristy in 2012. My research interests include social network analysis , social influence and big data mining.

I have been visiting student at University of Chicago (working with Ronald Burt), Tsinghua University (working with Jie Tang), Nanjing University and Fudan University. During my PhD, I have also been an intern at NEC and SAP Germany.
