Mengtao Han, male, Ph.D.,born in January 1987,is an associate professor at the School of Architecture and Urban Planning of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. After got his Ph.D. degree from the University of Tokyo in 2020, he continued his research career as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo. He was also a young scientists researcher fellow of The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). He moved to his current position in February 2021.
His main research fields are urban microclimate, air pollutants and disaster prevention, and green architecture and energy-saving technology.
He has published over 30 papers in high-level journals and international conferences, including 5 SCI and 3 EI (as of 2021.3). He is also a reviewer of SCI journals such as the International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, Building and Environment, Journal of Wind Engineering and Industrial Aerodynamics.
He has presided over one research project of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (project number: 18J13607), participated in two projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, one scientific research and development project of Wuhan Municipal Construction Commission, a demonstration project of energy-saving reconstruction of existing public buildings in Wuhan City loaned by French Development Agency, and participated in the design of over 10 large public buildings such as cultural complex, high-speed railway supporting complex, large theater, and commercial complex.
