Meixia Chen, Professor, Ph.D. Supervisor. Her research interests include vibration and noise control of ship structure, fluid-solid-sound multi-physical field coupling technique, acoustic performance of composite materials. She has presided over 60 projects in recent years, including the national natural science foundation of China, the 13th five-year basic product innovation and scientific research project, the 13th five-year plan pre-research projects, research projects entrusted by CSIC research institute and enterprises, etc. She has published more than 100 academic papers in journals and academic conferences at home and abroad, among which more than 20 papers are included by SCI and more than 50 by EI. She once served as the communication evaluation expert of the academic degree center of the ministry of education and the national natural science foundation of China. She was also as the editorial board member of Journal of research on Chinese ships, Journal of Marine engineering, proceedings of underwater noise symposium on ships. She is currently a member of vibration and noise group of ship mechanics academic committee of Chinese society of naval architecture, and a member of ship and ocean engineering composite materials professional committee of Chinese society of composite materials.
Students interested in ship vibration and noise control are welcome to apply for master's and doctor's degree. The research group will provide theoretical guidance, high-performance computers and experimental platforms for scientific research. Meanwhile, graduate students are encouraged to participate in and provide support for academic exchanges at home and abroad.
