Hosted and participated in 6 research projects of the Ministry of Education and provincial and ministerial level.

Main research direction: Interior design and theory, traditional architectural decoration wood craft, urban public transport facilities environment design.

Edited 2 textbooks, published more than 10 research papers, instructed students to win 49 national competitions. Won 12 national and provincial-level excellent art and design awards. Won the title of excellent instructor and excellent class teacher of Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
