On November 14th, 2020, the Ranking List of Chinese Hospitals, the 2019 China Reputation Ranking List of Medical Specialty and the 2019 China Comprehensive Ranking List of Medical Specialty were released by the Hospital Management Research Institute, Fudan University. Two affiliated hospitals from our university rank among the top 10 in China with Tongji Hospital ranking 7th and Wuhan Union Hospital 10th. Compared with the Comprehensive Ranking List in 2018, Tongji Hospital has moved up one spot and Wuhan Union Hospital two spots.

31 specialties from Tongji Hospital were listed on the "2019 China Reputation Ranking List of Medical Specialty ". 13 out of 31 entered the top 10, namely, obstetrics and gynecology, urology, geriatrics, general surgery, rehabilitation medicine, allergy, reproductive medicine, pediatric surgery, respiratory medicine, neurology, anesthesiology, radiology and pathology.

The other 18 nominated specialties were otolaryngology, orthopedics, endocrinology, neurosurgery, pediatric internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, thoracic surgery, hematology, plastic surgery, ultrasound medicine, rheumatology, clinical pharmacy, kidney disease, digestive diseases, oncology, laboratory medicine, nuclear medicine, infectious and infectious diseases.

Wuhan Union Hospital had a total of 27 specialties listed. Among them were 11 specialties, including nuclear medicine, clinical pharmacy, cardiac surgery, anesthesiology, hematology, plastic surgery, ultrasound medicine, otolaryngology, gastroenterology, urology and general surgery, which entered the top 10.

16 specialties were nominated by the list, namely infectious infection, respiratory department, radiology department, obstetrics and gynecology department, orthopedics department, endocrinology department, dermatology department, neurology department, neurosurgery department, pediatric surgery department, cardiovascular disease department, ophthalmology department, oncology department, geriatrics department, laboratory department and emergency medicine.
