The library has resumed partial circulation and reading services since July 10th in order to better serve the university. Please be kindly informed that the library will strictly follow standard epidemic prevention and control requirements as well as take the following new measures.
Opening hours
Monday to Sunday, 8:30am-11:30am; 14:30pm-17:30pm
The library will conduct environmental disinfection at 11:30 am and 5:30 pm daily.
Number of seats
A total of 1000 seats are available during the summer break, including 600 in the Main Library, 250 in the Medical Library and 150 in the East Library. The library will adjust the number of seats and open areas as needed.

Reservation
Reservation is required for all entering the library. Please reserve online in advance and show the screenshot of your successful reservation page upon entry. Reservations will expire two hours after your reserved time. Should you miss a booked session, please make a timely cancellation as to make the session available for others.

Upon arrival, please scan the health code, show the reservation page, have your temperature measured and check in using your HUST ID card.
Code of Conduct
Please wear a mask at all times, keep a safe social distance (1 meter away at least), wash hands using soap frequently, keep a quiet atmosphere, follow the rules and maintain hygiene in the library. Food is not permitted in the library.
Please sit one person per seat in the direction as shown on the table. Please inform the staff immediately if you feel unwell.
Borrowing Books
You can search for books on the shelves by yourself, or make an online reservation. It is recommended to reserve only books with a status of "on the shelf" in your local library branch. Otherwise there may be a long waiting period.
Returning Books
Books can be returned at the Self-Service machines or at the Service Desks.
The due date has been postponed to 2 weeks after the beginning of the coming fall semester, overdue fines caused by the epidemic have been waived. Please do not panic and avoid peak period crowding when returning books.
