On November 13, 2015 Nike Track and Field Invitational Tournament kicked off in Tongji University, Shanghai. Athletes from 8 universities competed with each other, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University, Renmin University of China, Tongji University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Jinan University and South China University of Technology.
During the tournament, HUSTers played hard and made great achievements. Had just broken the game record in 2015 Hubei Province College Students Track and Field Games, Wanghong from School of Public Administration lived up to our expectations and won the championship in women's high jump. Had also broken the record in 2015 Hubei Province College Students Track and Field Games, graduate of Department of Sports Lijia broke the record of men's 110m hurdles and won the second place. Youna from School of Public Administration did the same as Lijia on women's 110m hurdles.
There were other students got great results. Xiao Yuting, Ma Shushu and Shao Huaiqiang from School of Public Administration respectively won the second place in women's 200 meters sprint, the third place in women's shot put and the third place in men's shot put. Graduate of Department of Sociology Wang Zheng won the third place in men's 200 meters sprint. In team sport, Li Jia, Wang Zheng as well as Li Yipin and Huang Yao from School of Public Administration won the third place in men's 4 × 100 meters relay.
