From April 14th to April 15th, a delegation led by Ma Xiaojie, the vice-chair of council and vice president of HUST, visited Nanning and signed a Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement for Innovation and Development.
Pursuant to the Agreement, and in the principle of complementary advantages, mutual benefit, sharing resources, and mutual development, cooperation will begin in the construction of New Think Tank, Industry-Institution-Research cooperation, talents exchanging and producing, teaching practice and the construction of excellent students source.
On the signing ceremony, Zhou Hongbo the mayor of Nanning Province extended heartfelt thanks to HUST for the interest and support on the development of Nanning. He also proposed his vision for the innovation and development cooperation on science and technology, talents exchanging and producing, and consultancy service via effective combination of the advantages on both sides. While Ma Xiaojie hoped that both parties can further their connection and make sure all the cooperation come to fruition.
HUST alumnus Wang XiaoDong, the Secretary General of Nanning City and member of Standing Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, received the delegation.
