On October 21st, Professor Glenn Wightwick, the vice-president of University of Technology, Sydney(UTS), visited HUST. HUST vice-president Prof. Chen Jianguo met the delegation.
The past few years has witnessed a steady development of bilateral cooperation between HUST and UTS. Both sides have built several important research platforms including Sino-Australian Cyber-Physical Authentic Identification United Center, HUST-UTS Mobile Communication Research Center. On this basis, 71 papers have been published jointly and five Ph.D candidates received co-supervision. In his reception words, Vice President Chen Jianguo suggested that both sides should deepen and widen the current cooperation to a comprehensive and closer relationship.
Vice President Prof.Glenn Wightwick also introduced the latest development in teaching and researching of UTS. He proposed that both sides to combine each other’s advantages, strengthen for the further cooperation in double-degree Ph.D programs.
Leaders in charge of School of Electronics and Information Engineering, School of Management and International Division Department, Graduate School attended the reception.
