Wuhan Optoelectronics Forum (WHOF) is a series of academic courses launched by Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics (WNLO).

By inviting outstanding scientists, experts, and entrepreneurs to give lectures in the field of optoelectronics, WHOF aims to introduce the state-of-art of progress on the frontiers of optoelectronics, discuss key scientific questions and solutions, predict development trend of disciplines and related industries, thus to provide scientific and technological support to the development of Wuhan Optics Valley of China.

The distinguished lecturers of WHOF include academicians from home and abroad, winners of China National Funds for Distinguished Young Scientists, Cheung Kong Distinguished and Guest Professors, professors from world top universities, Chief Scientist of the State Major Scientific and Technological Program in China, Technical Leaders from world-known enterprises.

The presentation will be written up into an article and compiled to publish, and the invited speaker will be granted with the Collection of Wuhan Optoelectronics Forum and memorial gift for giving the talk.The fourth volume of the Collection of Wuhan Optoelectronics Forum has been published recently.
