To meet the development need of 6G communication technology, Peng Cheng Laboratory with Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and University of Electronic Science and Technology of China jointly develops “EAGLE 6G- 6G-oriented wireless high-speed access prototype system and test environment” . It was selected as one of the 2022 World Leading Internet Scientific and Technological Achievements and was officially released at the release ceremony. Prof. Wang Desheng’s team from EIC, as the core member, undertook the development of resilient multi-connection aggregation, which is one of the key technologies support EAGLE 6G.

The Release Ceremony is a showcase for World Leading Internet Scientific and Technological Achievements. A recommendation committee is established and comprised of nearly 40 experts all over the in the field of Internet. EAGLE 6G stood out from hundreds of Internet achievements from China and aboard such as Russia, the US, the UK, Sweden, and was selected as one of 15 2022 World Leading Internet Scientific and Technological Achievements.
