Li Jianjun is currently a full professor at the School of Computer Science and Technology in HUST. He received the PhD degree in computer science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China in 2012. He was a research assistant in HKUST in 2008-2009, a senior research associate in City University of Hong Kong in 2013. His research interests include cyber physical systems, real-time systems, recommender systems, natural language processing, spatial data management, etc. His papers have been published in major conferences and journals, including RTSS, RTAS, EMSFOT, ACL, EMNLP, COLING, AAAI, ACM MM, CIKM, IEEE TPDS, IEEE TC, TCAD, TMC, etc. He is a member of ACM and IEEE, senior member of CCF. In 2013, he obtained the Excellent Doctoral Thesis award of Hubei province. In 2017, he won the First Prize of Science and Technology Progress of Hubei province. In 2021, he won the Best Paper Nomination Award of the ACM SIGBED International Conference on Embedded Software (EMSOFT).
