Personal Profile
Prof. Gan Zongsong graduated from Nankai University, Tianjin, China in 2008. He obtained his PhD at Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia in 2013. His research is focused on super-resolution optical technology with its application in information technology. His research interest includes super-resolution laser fabrication, ultra-high density optical data storage, super-resolution lithography, laser cooling of solid, big data software technology for scientific and engineering devices. He published several academic work in Nature Comm., Science Advances, Applied Physical Letters and Optics Express. His work also attracted national and international media coverage including The Conversation, Discovery News, ABC, Phys Org and so on. Prof. Gan is a recipient of a number of prestigious awards including Swinburne’s Vice Chancellor Award for early career researcher in 2013, Victoria Fellowship in 2014, John Stoker Postdoctoral Fellowship from SIEF Veski in 2014, Chutian Young Scholar in 2017 from Hubei, China.
