Recently, the National Philosophies and Social Sciences Documentation Center and the Library of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences released the "Report on the Attention Degree of Users of the Academic Periodical Database of the National Philosophies and Social Sciences Documentation Center (2018)", and the Journal of Management won the title of "The Most Popular Journal of Management Discipline" of the Academic Periodical Database of the National Philosophies and Social Sciences Documentation Center in 2018.
The Journal of Management adheres to the tenet of "promoting academic exchange of management disciplines, introducing advanced international management concepts, helping the growth of Chinese management school and promoting the continuous development of management disciplines". To promote the development of management science in China as the goal, to strive to build a Chinese management culture as the general direction, to maximize the unity of management scholars and entrepreneurs as a way. Based on the strategic plan of the Department of Management Science of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the three key words of "China", "practice" and "culture" are defined. A series of academic conferences, such as "Management in China", "China · Practice · Management", "China Human Resource Management Forum", and "Enterprise · Management · Ethics", initiated by the Journal of Management, have gathered excellent scholars, enriched excellent manuscripts, exerted great influence in the domestic management field, and gained wide recognition and support from the management field.
