Research.com (a new version of Guide2Research) released its 2022 8th edition of the top business and management scientists ranking. Professor Lu Yaobin was on the list of Top Business and Management Scientists ranking 43rd in China, and 9th in Chinese mainland.
Guide2Research, which has been updated as Research.com since February 2022, is an online research portal widely used by the business and management community. It bases its rankings on the h-index (measure of scientific research impact) provided by Google Scholar and by DBLP, a German-based computer science bibliography website. The ranking of Global "Top Scientists in Business and Management" is based on an examination on a variety of indicators and and measuring standards of 5,973 scientists’ profiles on Google Scholar and Microsoft Academic Graph. The list aims to inspire scholars, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers worldwide to explore where leading experts are heading and to provide an opportunity for the entire scientific community to discover who the leading experts in specific fields of research, in different countries, or even within research institutions are.
Professor Lu has been researching on innovation of business model in the social business environment, service model innovation in the AIoT, and intelligent social governance, etc. He is currently a member of the Education Committee of the Ministry of Education for Management Science and Engineering, and an associate editor of renowned academic journal Information & Management. He has published a series of academic research in leading international journals on information management and e-commerce, such as JMIS, EJIS, DSS, ISJ, JIT, I&M, IJEC, IJIM, as well as domestic high-level journals such as Management World and Nankai Management Review, among which seven papers are listed in ESI Highly Cited Papers.
