On May 11th, Times Higher Education (THE) released the second China Subject Ratings. The rating covers 90 universities in mainland China and 1,420 universities worldwide. The ratings show that, in most subjects, the performance of universities in mainland China is better than that of universities in other parts of the world. Overall, the average score of Chinese universities is B+, whereas the global average score is B.
Among them, the two first-level subjects of SOM—Management Science and Engineering, and Business Administration are rated A level in this rating respectively.
