For over 40 years, the School of Management of Huazhong University of Science and Technology has been forging ahead in the field of management in China, adhering to the mission “to explore management expertise, educate management elites and promote social development with a global vision”, under the leadership of former and current school boards and with the concerted efforts of all faculty, students and alumni. It has developed into a business school with outstanding disciplinary cutting-edge, distinctive academic features, strong faculty and significant impact at home and abroad.

Standing at the junction of “Two Centenaries”, we will focus on the fundamental goal of development and reform of the school, and make proper preparation and arrangement for the 14th “Five-Year Plan” as we embark on the new journey of building a comprehensively modernized country. By seizing the opportunity of developing New Humanities, we will continue to promote a new round of "Double First-class" Initiative. Guided by the major demands of the country, we will take moral education as the foundation and optimize the structure of disciplines to highlight our features and advantages. We will also enhance the caliber of our faculty, build a high-quality talent nurturing mechanism and further expand international cooperation. Adhering to the goal of "conducting responsible research and cultivating responsible management talents", we will press ahead with efforts to build a new platform of “Integration of Technology and Business” to contribute to Chinese management research and practice.
